Privacy campaigners say the amount of data being uploaded by software in the HSE's Covid Tracker App is a major concern.
It's after researchers at Trinity College discovered data like your phone number and device identity codes are being gathered by Google Play Services. They say users can opt out of that data-sharing, but not if they want contact tracing to work.
