The community of Baltinglass have been left angered by the actions of a young group of people, who cheered on a man as he climbed the 40 foot Christmas Tree in the town centre, which was only lit up at the weekend.
Video footage emerged online late on Sunday night, showing the man climbing the tree to touch a star at the top.
