Don't face delays! Traffic could be impacted across four municipal districts in the coming week.
Here's the latest from Wicklow County Council:
Road works will continue on the R752 between Glasnarget Bridge in Rathdrum and Deputy’s Pass in Glenealy. These works started last Monday, March 2nd and are expected to continue for two weeks. Traffic management will be in place daily between 8am and 5pm.
In Wicklow, surfacing repairs will be carried out on the L-5063 Nuns Cross Road today, Monday March 9th, between 9am and 6pm. Traffic management will be in place for the duration with local access maintained.
In Baltinglass, structural damage means several roads remain closed as including:
- L7251 Gowle Road between Killabeg and Clonmore (Co Carlow), Coolkenna,
- L7245 Ballynultagh Road between Shillelagh and Ballynultagh
- L7740 Killinure to Money Road in Coolkenna
- L7235 Money to Parkbridge Road at Moylisha and Newry in Parkbridge
- L7744 Tomnafinoge Road in Coolboy
- L7233 Ballard Cross to Boley Road in Shillelagh
- L71331 Ballysilloge Lane in Knockananna.
Works are continuing on the N81 Hollywood Cross Rural Traffic Calming Road Safety Improvement Scheme. These started last July and are expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Finally in Greystones, the closure of Chapel Road (L-1027-1) in Delgany has been extended until Friday, July 31st to facilitate the Chapel Road Pedestrian and Cyclist Infrastructure Improvement Scheme.
