But who will they be?
Plans to reopen the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk by next March are 'ambitious' according to Councillor Erica Doyle.
The Chair of the current Cliff Walk Management Committee has confirmed they will:
...work to ensure things progress at the fastest pace possible, while following proper process and procedure.
Following an update posted on her Facebook page, East Coast FM news sought to confirm the immediate actions being taken - elected members of Wicklow County Council had agreed to expand the remit of the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk Management Committee earlier this week.
It's now understood committee membership will be expanded to include six additional members; three representatives from the Greystones side and three from the Bray side. Councillor Doyle confirmed:
We are progressing the nomination process now for these representatives and will be reaching out to umbrella bodies in the coming days.
Her earlier post on Facebook indicated the following:
The target date of March given by the Tanaiste will be extremely challenging for all concerned. We are working to move things along as quickly as possible and will provide a more detailed update on next steps following the next meeting of the committee.
