The Southside Chinese Residents Association which is primarily based in the Bray and Greystones area, have imported and distributed 25,000, three layer disposable masks to nursing homes, care homes and carers in North Wicklow.
A further 10,000 are being given to local not-for-profits organisations, with the help of the County Wicklow Volunteer Centre.
