Chief Medical Officer Expresses Concern That More People Are Active Outside, Despite Restrictions

The Chief Medical Officer says he's noticing an increase in people out and about in recent days, despite the Covid-19 restrictions.

There are fears today's expected good weather, with temperatures reaching up to 20 degrees, could lead to people travelling to parks and beaches and not observing social distancing.
44 more people with Covid-19 have died, bringing the death toll here to 730, while there are now 16,040 confirmed cases. However Simon Harris revealed yesterday evening that of the 15,185 diagnosed cases up to last Saturday, 9233 had made a full recovery.
Dr. Tony Holohan says we cannot afford to slacken our efforts
