Calls Made For Full Time Lifeguard At Arklow Beach

Water Safety Ireland have issued a warning as temperatures continue to rise.

This comes after two people lost their lives in the water in Dublin and Clare in recent days.

Edward Taylor, who works as a volunteer with Arklow Maritime Patrol Search and Recovery, rescued a child at The Cove in Arklow last week.

He says it highlights the need for a full time lifeguard in the area.
