The 7km trail, Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk faces a fourth summer closure due to expenses in repairing the trail using short-term fixes.
A recent district meeting has heard calls to find solutions that would allow the cliff walk to reopen. The Cliff Walk has been closed since February 2021, after a number of landslides made parts of the route unstable and unsafe for walkers.
Greystones Councillor Stephen Stokes calls for a Compulsory Purchase Order to made for the Cliff Walk in order for a long-term solution to resolve the issue.
