First Division club Bray Wanderers have issued a statement in support of Pat Devlin after an incident between the club's manager and supporters.
After Monday's 1-1 draw at Wexford - match stewards at Ferrycarrig Park had to intervene to keep Devlin and a section of Bray supporters apart.
The club say that they have identified the 'principal perpetrators' and are working with Gardai to 'implement steps to eliminate this behaviour.'
Bray are third from bottom in the table and have only managed two wins in 13 matches this season.
