The Boil Water Notice issued on Monday, 6 December has been lifted with immediate effect.

The Boil Water Notice issued on Monday, 6 December has been lifted with immediate effect.

It was necessary to issue the Boil Water Notice as a precaution following high turbidity at a treated water reservoir at Vartry Water Treatment Plant which impacted the disinfection process.

Almost 13-thousand customers in North Wicklow were affected.
