Body Recovered From The Sea Off Arklow

Gardai in Arklow are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, whose body was taken from the sea adjacent to the duck pond yesterday evening.

Gardai in Arklow  are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman, whose body was taken from the sea adjacent to the duck pond yesterday evening.

Reports say the body of the woman in her 50s was found at around a quarter to six yesterday evening.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was taken  to Loughlinstown Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
