Portmarnock's Velvet Strand will re-open to swimmers if results of water quality tests are acceptable.
It's one of three Dublin beaches with a swimming ban, due to health concerns after heavy rain led to storm water overflowing.
Fingal County Council says there have been no further storm overflows since then, and that water quality results will be available on Saturday.
Dollymount Strand and Sandymount Strand are also closed to swimmers.
