A man in his 30's has been charged in connection with a serious assault on a woman in County Wicklow over the weekend.
Nadine Lott sustained serious injuries during the attack at her apartment, which has left her in a critical condition in hospital.
According to the Star news paper, Nadine underwent eight hours of surgery since the attack which happened early on Saturday morning.
A suspect who fled the scene, later crashed his vehicle at Laragh. He was taken to tallaght hospital and later discharged, before being detained by gardai.
A man has appeared before Bray District Court this afternoon.
