Arklow in County Wicklow has been named Ireland’s Best Kept Large Town.
The all-island competition sees the best towns in the TidyTowns competition compete against their counterparts in Northern Ireland’s Best Kept competition.
Bantry in West Cork took top spot in the list of Ireland’s Best Kept Town, while also being named winner in the Best Kept Small Town category.
Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring has congratulated the winners who were announced at an awards ceremony in Farmleigh House in Dublin.
