A 99 acre site in Arklow has gone on the market with the potential for a major mixed-use residential and business development project .
Located at the southern end of the town adjacent to Arklow Golf Club, the lands are zoned under the Arklow and Environs Local Area Plan 2018-2024 for a mix of housing on 39 acres, just under 10 acres for education, 2 acres for shops and over 22 acres designated for business development.
The entire holding is being offered with a guide price of €1.95 million.
Although there is no current planning permission in place, a 10-year planning permission was granted in May 2004 for a mixed-use development, which included eight office blocks, retail outlets, a transport terminus as well as a hotel.
