Arboretum Kilquade Announces Major €4 Million Redevelopment Of Its Garden Centre.

The redevelopment set to finish in Spring 2024 will create 25 new jobs at the garden centre

Arboretum, the independent family-owned garden and lifestyle centre located in Kilquade, is set to commence a €4 million redevelopment of its 2,390 m² garden centre.

The major makeover will mean that the entire retail and plant area will be covered with a roof significantly enhancing the customer shopping experience. This will include a garden centre, cafe and retail section. When finished, the floor area of the new development and the current 17 exhibition gardens will span six acres.

Arboretum Kilquade will remain open throughout the entire refurbishment period albeit with a pared back offering which will include a specially erected temporary structure which will house a café offering including tea, coffee and food, garden plants and gifting ranges.

Construction works will start on Monday 14th August and trading at the specially erected structure will commence on 8th August, with the new look store expected to open in Spring 2024.
