Have you heard? As part of Irish Music Month this September, East Coast FM is looking for Ireland’s newest Local Hero!
Each of the 21 participating independent radio stations will select four acts, who will then battle it out to be selected as the East Coast FM representative in a national competition that will ultimately see 6 acts perform live at Dublin's Academy on Tuesday 15th of October – at the end of which one act will emerge as A New Local Hero for Ireland to celebrate – and listen to!
The winning act
- Will play live on air on East Coast FM
- Will get expert advice from Industry mentors
- Will win 5K in cash, 5K in recording time in the world class Camden Recording Studios AND national airplay, expert mentoring and industry support!
- PLUS - They will have their song released by the Rubyworks Record Label and see that song enjoy airplay across all participating 21 radio stations
