Animal Rights Groups Call For Support For New Bill To Ban Hare Coursing

A bill to ban hare-coursing could see people who engage in the practice jailed for six months.

Dublin TD Paul Murphy is launching it with animal rights groups today.
He's proposing a fine of up to a thousand euro, along with, or instead of, imprisonment.
It's the third time a piece of legislation like this has been introduced to the Dail, firstly in the 90s and again in 2016.
