Construction at a social housing development site in Wicklow remains suspended, after ancient bones were discovered there last Friday afternoon.
The Skeletal remains were found at a building site near Mountainview Drive in Newtownmountkennedy.
Speaking to East Coast FM’s Morning Show Sergeant John Fitzpatrick said the remains were examined by an archaeologist, a forensic anthropologist, and a human remains specialist who determined that they are believed to date 1,500 years.
