7 Wicklow Exhibitors Announced As Part Of The Line-Up At Bloom.

From Wicklow, seven exhibitors will be among those featured at this year’s event.

Dublin’s Phoenix Park is buzzing in anticipation of the Bord Bia Bloom festival which takes place from Thursday 2nd June – Monday 6th June. The celebrated outdoor festival, now in its sixteenth year, will be held in-person following two virtual #BloomAtHome events. From Wicklow, seven exhibitors, including showgarden designers, food & drinks producers, and crafts designers, will be among those featured at this year’s event.

From KilmacanogueRobert Moore (pictured) returns to Bord Bia Bloom with another showgarden, sponsored by Enable Ireland. The ‘Enable Ireland Respite Garden’ represents the journey into adulthood and independence and the importance of respite for those who experience the day-to-day challenges of living with a disability. Planting in the garden is inspired by the rural setting of Rathmore House in Wicklow, which provides respite for Enable Ireland’s adult service owners.

As always, the Food Village is set to be a hive of activity with more than 80 food and drink producers showcasing the best of Irish produce; from chocolate to smoked salmon, cheese to beetroot juice, artisan sausages, fresh vegetables and meats, coffee and jams. The Bloom Inn will offer the finest craft brews and spirits from all over the country. From Wicklow, four local food & drink producers will be among those featured at this year’s Food Village and Bloom Inn:

  • Daisy Cottage Farm from Ballinacor, is a family-run artisanal bakery.

  • Miena's Nougat from Glen of Imaal, produce award-winning handcrafted nougat.

  • Wicklow Way Wines from Newtownmountkennedy, make Irish berry wines.

  • Sussed (Wicklow Rapeseed) from Hawkstown Lower, who produce heart-healthy rapeseed oil.

Situated at the heart of the show, the Irish Craft Village, supported by Design & Craft Council Ireland, presents an exciting selection of work from some of Ireland’s most creative designers and makers. Two Wicklow businesses will be among those featured at this year’s Irish Craft Village:

  • OlannMor chunky knits and weaving from the Wicklow Mountains.

  • Kaiko Studio home accessories, lighting and jewellery from Bray.
