There are 423 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic and five additional deaths.
199 of the cases are in Dublin, with 41 in Kildare, 23 in Meath, 20 in Galway and 18 in Westmeath.
The remaining 122 cases are spread across 19 other counties.
Less than five cases were reported in Wicklow.
There are 232 Covid patients in hospital - the lowest since before Christmas - and 56 in intensive care.
