There are 400 new cases of Covid-19 in the Republic and 7 additional deaths.
162 of the cases are in Dublin, with 61 in Kildare, 26 in Cork, 21 in Galway and 13 in Wicklow.
The remaining cases are spread across 18 other counties.
There are 226 Covid patients in hospital, with 55 in intensive care.
