A 16 year-old in Wicklow is thought to be in possession of the largest hen's egg in Ireland.
Craig Evans, who keeps 31 birds at his family's farm in Wicklow, discovered an egg with a circumference of 16 cm and standing at 9 cm when he went to check on his chickens last Tuesday.
