  Training & IT Support Specialist

  Location: Dublin 2
  Working: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
  Travel: Occasional travel to London

  The Role

  We are looking for a Training & IT Support Specialist to join a growing insurance technology business.

  This is a varied, people-focused role combining client training, application support and internal IT support. You will train customers on our insurance platforms, handle technical queries and also provide day-to-day IT support to internal users.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Train new and existing clients on insurance software and platforms.
  • Provide first-line application and technical support by phone, email and ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot user, software and access issues and escalate where required.
  • Set up new starters, laptops, accounts and applications.
  • Manage general IT support tickets and assist with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and Azure environments.
  • Assist with software testing and new product releases.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and act as a key point of contact.
  • Occasionally travel to London for client training or meetings.

  About You

  We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident speaking with customers and comfortable on the phone.
  • Friendly, personable and customer-focused.
  • Technically minded with good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable explaining technology to non-technical users.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple queries at once.
  • Experienced in IT support, application support, software training or a similar role.

  Technical Experience

  Experience with some of the following would be beneficial:

  Microsoft 365 / Office | Intune | Azure | ASP.NET | SaaS | Ticketing Systems | AWS

  Insurance or InsurTech experience is desirable but not essential.

  This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a mix of people, technology, training and problem-solving, rather than a purely technical IT support position.
