The adventure park, which operates a high ropes and zipline experience in dedicated Coillte forests, is opening its newest adventure park in Djouce Park on Friday, July 18th.
Zipit opted for Djouce Park for its unique setting, and its accessibility within the county and from Dublin via the N11 or the scenic Sally Gap route.
An added bonus of Djouce Park will be a low ropes course, designed for children between the ages of three and six. Other Zipit locations are limited to those aged seven and upwards. The high ropes course is open to everyone aged from seven and reaches 12 metres off the ground.
15 new jobs will be created with Ropes Course Instructors to be hired. The company already operates in Dublin, Cork and Roscommon.
Cian O’Callaghan, of Cool Running Events, told East Coast FM:
“We’re incredibly excited to launch our newest course in Djouce. This area of Wicklow offers a stunning backdrop for outdoor adventure. This course is Zipit's first that's accessible to kids as young as three, and we can't wait to see the excitement on the younger adventurers' faces as they take part in Ireland's newest adventure course”.
