Motorists in Wicklow and surrounding counties are being warned to drive with extra care later today.
A yellow wind warning will come into force from midday, with strong to gale force winds expected to sweep across the country .
Met Eireann is forecasting very windy conditions with gusts of up to 110 kilomtres per hour.
The warning will remain in place until 7 o’clock tomorrow morning.
