Gardaí in Bray have seized approximately €7,000 worth of what is believed to be crack cocaine
Gardaí in Bray have seized approximately €7,000 worth of what is believed to be crack cocaine following a search operation, on Thursday, October 12, at a house by the Bray District Drugs Unit, with the help of uniformed gardaí and specialist garda units.
It follows ongoing concerns raised by local residents about illegal drug dealing in the community, gardaí said. The drugs have been sent for forensic analysis.
Following the search in the north of Bray, a female was arrested at the house under section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act (Sale and Supply of Controlled Dugs) and detained at Bray Garda Station, where she was interviewed in relation to the sale of illegal drugs.
Gardaí in Bray said the woman was brought before Bray District Court and remanded in custody following objections raised by gardaí to the granting of bail. On Tuesday, October 17, gardaí said the woman was due to appear in court again this week.
