The Irish Men’s Sheds Association is inviting members of the public to a showcase of its Wicklow branch in Newtownmountkennedy’s Community Centre later today.
The event, which gets underway at 11 O’ Clock will see 80 men from across the garden county showcasing their woodwork and painting projects.
A number of partner organisations including the Irish Heart Foundation will also be present on the day carrying out health checks and answering questions.
Initiatives such as the Mens Shed movement have been praised as positive outlets for men to express themselves.
