€25,000 has been donated to Wicklow non-profit organisations since the start of the pandemic.
The As I Am autism charity, Dunlavin Community First Responders and Greystones FRC who provide counselling and therapeutic services are among a number of organisations nationwide that have received support through The Ireland Funds Covid-19 Response Fund.
The fund works with the non profit sector and has identified charities with limited resources and fundraising streams, who have struggled to deliver their services over the past 18 months.
Food distribution and access to education are other areas that have been earmarked for support in regional non-profit organisations based in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.
