Wicklow Main Street Closed This Weekend, Diversions Will Be In Place.

This is to facilitate essential maintenance on a damaged stormwater pipe.

Wicklow Municipal District is advising that on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November 2023 the Main Street in Wicklow Town will be closed. Access to Mortons Lane will be closed to HGV's and traffic will not be permitted to turn left (Northbound) onto Main Street. This is to facilitate essential maintenance on a damaged stormwater pipe. Diversions will be in place.  

There will be free parking in Abbey Street carpark, Church Street carpark, Kilmantin Hill carpark and St Patricks Road carpark on Saturday 11th November.    

Wicklow Municipal District is apologising for any inconvenience caused.  

Businesses will be open as normal.
