Wicklow County Council Warning About Scam Worker

The council has issued a warning to protect the Wicklow community.

Wicklow residents be warned!

Wicklow County Council has received reports about an individual attempting to scam residents for money.

This person, claiming to be a council employee, called on homes throughout the county last weekend.

The man as offering sealant services for driveways and demanding payment for his work.

The council advises anyone who encounters this individual to remain vigilant and report it to the Gardaí.

Reminder: All employees of Wicklow County Council carry valid ID and should be able to provide it upon request.
