Wicklow has been added to the list of counties coming under a Status Orange Wind Warning from 7am until 3pm tomorrow.
The country is bracing itself for heavy rain overnight. Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for the whole country and a Status Orange wind warning for eleven counties.
Storm Bram will bring very heavy rain overnight before that - so when it comes to coastal edges, harbours and bodies of water Met Eireann is reminding us to Stay Back, Stay High, Stay Dry
Storm Bram is forecast to bring very strong to gale force southerly winds - strongest along the coast.
There is a warning of an increased flood risk in coastal areas due to high spring tides. Many local rivers are already high after recent persistent rain so additional rainfall will likely result in flooding.
Met Éireann is reminding us to avoid coastal edges, harbours and piers too with a warning to 'Stay Back, Stay High, Stay Dry' for safety.
