Two men have been hospitalised following a violent burglary in Arklow on Saturday.
It happened at The Links in Arklow at about 1.30pm on Saturday when a number of men forced their way into a property, where they assaulted two men, one in his 30s and the other in his 40s - both victims have been taken to St Vincent's Hospital.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward, especially those who passed by the Dock Road or the Abbeylands Hill area between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday afternoon.
