The Vintners Federation of Ireland wants ALL pubs to be allowed open from December 1st.
It’s also opposed to them having to close at 10 o’clock at night as speculated, when the level 5 restrictions are lifted.
The Federation says shutting them early would lead to more house parties.
VFI chief executive, Padraig Cribben, says whether or not food is served in a premises should not determine if a publican can open:
