State Exams Face Delays because Of Covid-19 Restrictions

State exams may now be held in late summer or autumn because of the coronavirus.

Reports say the government believes it's unlikely the restrictions will be lifted in time for their usual June start date.
The death toll from Covid-19 has risen to 235, after a further 25 people were confirmed to have lost their lives, while 365 new cases have been confirmed.
There are now 6,074 diagnosed cases of the virus.
Chief medical officer Tony Holohan says the growth rate of the virus needs to reduce significantly before restrictions are lifted.
