Wicklow householders are invited to bring batteries, electrical, and electronic waste to a free collection day next Saturday, 23rd August. What's included? Anything with a plug, battery or cable. Here's a sample of what can be recycled for free:

- IT Equipment
- Mobile Phones
- Remote Controls
- Toasters & Kettles
- Old Washing Machines
- Farm Fence Batteries
- Old Washing Machines
- Electronic Tools & Toys
Last year's electrical recycling day was a huge success. Almost 9,000kg of electrical goods were collected in 2024.
