Given the amount of land at Luggala, the full sale price would have been for more than this but the Price Register only takes into account the property plus an acre and a half.

The only sale larger in the county last year was for the Hazelbrook Rise development in Rathnew which sold for €20,232,350 in October.

Other large one-off sales included Prospect House in Newcastle for €2.572 million in April and Templecarrig House in Templecarrig, Delgany in August for €2.15 million.

In total there were 30 sales recorded in Wicklow last year for a seven-figure sum.

As of the Property Price Register update of February 5th, just over €697.4 million had been spent on property last year in Wicklow. 

There were 1,969 sales recorded as of that date, which was up 21.5% on the 1,621 sales recorded in 2018.
