These projects aim to address road deficiencies contributing to the poor road safety record on the network over the last 15 years.
Wicklow County Council is progressing the development of the N81 Improvement Schemes namely the N81 Whitestown Lower project and N81 Hangman’s Bend and Tuckmill project in conjunction with Kildare National Roads Office, Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the Department of Transport.
The project team are progressing the planning and design of the project in accordance with the TII Project Management Guidelines.
The project is currently at Option Selection Stage (Phase 2).
