The National Transport Authority has announced Roundwood is to take part in a pilot programme.

The National Transport Authority has announced Roundwood is to take part in a pilot programme for a local hackney service.

The programme will be rolled out to 20 other locations nationwide and is aimed at expanding transport options for those living in more remote parts of the country.

Green Party TD for Wicklow Steven Mathews says the programme will also encourage new part time hackney services to operate in the area:
