34 new local authority homes are to be built in County Wicklow.
The ‘Rapid Delivery’ homes will be funded under the government’s Local Authority Housing Capital Programme.
27 will be located at Mountain View in Newtownmountkennedy while 7 will be situated at Sheehan Court in Arklow.
The builds will get underway shortly with a combined approved cost of €7.3 million
Wicklow TD Andrew Doyle says the new units will bring the active social housing stock in the county to 9,540 with 63% new builds.
