Gardai are investigating a stabbing incident in South Wicklow. A man in his 20's is being treated at St Vincent's Hospital for his injuries.
The incident happened after 9 pm outside a property near Rathdrum last night.
The alleged assault is believed to have involved a screwdriver.
The man's injuries are understood to be non-life threatening.
Gardaí have yet to make an arrest and the scene remains sealed off this afternoon.
