A man has been seriously injured in a shooting in Dublin.
It happened at 11 o'clock last night in Eugene Street, in the south inner city.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and is described as being in a critical condition.
An investigation is under way and gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
