An average of just 5 people per journey have been using a new bus service introduced for people living in rural areas.
That's according to a report from the National Transport Authority which funded the initiative at a cost of 530 thousand euro.
After a review of the programme, the NTA says that 3 of the 65 services have been cancelled due to poor numbers.
The initiative will be extended until March when a further review will take place.
