Louth Hotel Stands By Decision To Refuse Service To Dublin Couple

A hotel owner in Co Louth says they won’t apologise for refusing to serve customers with a Dublin eircode.

McKevitt's Village Hotel in Carlingford says it was very unfair to be described as a 'den of ignorance' online for not serving two people.

The person who criticised the rule said it was very humiliating for their parents to be denied service.

Staff at the hotel say the health guidelines are there and people need to follow them.
