In a new report, the watchdog says 40 thousand tonnes of plastic and 13 thousand tonnes of aluminium that could have been recycled were incinerated instead.It says Ireland's at risk of missing key EU targets because we're generating "significantly" more rubbish and recycling less and less of it.Senior Scientists with the EPA Tara Higgins says Ireland's recycling efforts can't keep up with the amount of waste being produced:
