The Powerscourt Hotel in County Wicklow could be about to come under new ownership.
Irish hotel group MHL Hotel Collection has agreed to acquire the five-star resort and spa from Sugarloaf Investments Limited for an undisclosed sum.
However the transaction is subject to approval from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
MHL already operates eleven 4-star and 5-star hotels in Dublin Galway and Limerick.
