Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a firearm was discharged are on the Vevay Road in Bray.
The incident took place shortly before 6pm on Thursday evening, the 5th January when an unidentified male is believed to have fired a gunshot.
No injuries were reported.
The scene was preserved and a technical examination was conducted.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
