Funding Applications Open for Blessington Groups That Spark Joy

Cairn Community Fund Blessington Launched: applications are open for €20,000 grant for local community groups looking to make real impact

Applications are open for a new community fund in Blessington worth €20,000. Could your group or club do with a funding injection?

The Cairn Community Fund will provide four grants ranging from €2,500 to €10,000, to back local initiatives focused on arts, sport, and social causes. The fund is welcoming applications of all sizes for activities that bring people together, foster connection, or inspire change, 

Clubs, societies and community groups in the area are encouraged to apply, with funding available for everything from facility upgrades to events and grassroots projects.

Examples include:

• new gear for the local sports team
• backing a social cause
• helping drama groups take centre stage
• or raising the voices of the community choir 

Applications close on April 30th. Shortlisted groups will be announced in May followed by an awards ceremony.
