The funding is designed to further enhance government support towards the revitalisation of rural towns and villages, making them more attractive places in which to live, work, visit and invest.
Funding worth up to €10,000 has been allocated to the Blessington Town Team.
It will help the group develop the master plan for the town, which is serving as a model for regeneration plans for other towns in the county.
