The Department of Education has granted funding to Templecarrig Secondary School for extension and expansion works at their premises in North Wicklow.
Among the works include the construction of a general classroom, a music room, science lab and extra space to cater for those with special educational needs.
Welcoming the news, Wicklow Minister Simon Harris says the expansion will allow Templecarrig greater flexibility to act as a feeder for St Andrews National School in Bray.
